Box Score BLUEFIELD - The Bluefield College men's soccer team got off the skids, defeating Middle Georgia State University 3-1, Thursday night at the East River Soccer Complex.
The Rams  took the lead in the 22nd minute on Joe Stacey's free kick that found the back of the net. MGSU knotted the score three minutes before the half on a goal by Romel Jordan that came off a corner kick.
The second half belonged to the Rams. Joao Delgado's header off Stacey's free kick in the 53rd minute gave BC a 2-1 lead and the Rams rounded out the scoring in the 56th minute when Jean-Emmanuel Ahouman found the back of the net on a penalty kick.
It was Bluefield's first win of the year on its home pitch and the Rams are now 3-4-1 on the season. They return to action Saturday afternoon against AAC foe Point at 3 p.m.
