Box Score BLUEFIELD, Va. - The Bluefield College women's volleyball team won its second match in a row, beating Tennessee Wesleyan University 3-1 (25-19, 25-28, 23-25, 25-19), Tuesday night at the Dome Gymnasium.
The Rams stormed to a 2-0 lead winning the first game and leading throughout. In the second the Rams were down 4-1 before rallying to take the lead and moving to a 25-18 win.
The visiting Bulldogs got live in the third set. Bluefield went ahead 11-6 and led 15-7 before TWU went on a run to go ahead 16-15. The Rams led 23-20, but Tennessee Wesleyan scored the final five points of the game to get the win.
In the fourth set the teams played close throughout before Bluefield scored six of the game's final seven points to get the 23-19 win.
The Rams are now 8-11 overall and 2-7 in AAC play. They return to the court Saturday at Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C., facing host Bob Jones and Allen University.
