MONTREAT, N.C. - The Bluefield College men's basketball team won its second consecutive game Wednesday night, defeating Montreat 76-73 in the North Carolina mountains. The win pushed the Rams record to 15-10 overall and 7-8 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference.

Sidney Knox led BC with 20 points and two steals while Joseph McClain tallied 14 points. Zeke Williams finished with 11 points, seven rebounds and four assists and Alonzo Howard added 10 points. Cordaris Towns had a team-high 11 rebounds along with nine points.

The Rams shot 47 percent from the field in the game.

Montreat's Cavaliers were led by Alonzo Mobley with 17 points.

Bluefield is back in action Saturday afternoon when NAIA No. 5 Union visits the Dome for a 4 p.m. contest.
