Bluefield (1-1) set the tone early and recorded four shots in the opening 10 minutes of action, but none were on frame.

The Rams continued to fire away with 12 total shots in the first half, but the scoreboard remained blank until Mader converted a penalty kick in the 42
nd minute.

William Peace (2-1) posted four shots in the opening 45 minutes, with keeper
Jefferson Watson saving the only shot on goal.

Bluefield's offense continued to maintain momentum through the second half, outshooting WPU by a 15-1 margin.

Despite the large shot margin for the Rams, Bluefield only tacked on one more goal in the second half.

Shortly after play resumed following a lightning delay, Albarran made the advantage 2-0. The Houston, Texas, native collected a loose ball in close range and found the back of the net in the 61
st minute.

Bluefield outshot the Pacers by a 27-5 margin on the evening, but only 10 of the Rams' shots were on target. WPU keeper Connor Johnston made seven saves in the contest, and was also assisted by a team save on an Albarran header in the 21
st minute.

Watson made one save in each half to record his first shutout of the season and the eighth of his career.

Bluefield had eight corner opportunities, compared to two for the Pacers, while BC was whistled for 11 fouls to WPU's nine.
