BLUEFIELD, Va. --Â The Bluefield College football team has made its return to the road this weekend, after having an off week and a home game in the last two weeks. The Rams are trekking to Lebanon, Tenn., and will square off with Cumberland University on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. ET.
Fans in the Bluefield area may once again tune into 1440 AM to hear Larry Mlynczak and Trey Wilson on the call from Lebanon, Tenn.
Additional coverage, provided by hosting Cumberland University, will include a
live stream and
live stats.
While the Rams are coming off a 7-38 defeat to Kentucky Christian, they pulled many positives from the game. Bluefield's defense only allowed 10 points to the Knights, and held the opposing team's offense to less than 200 total yards.
BC continues to work with multiple youthful quarterbacks on offense, with each option bringing a different skillset to the table.
The Bulldogs also hosted BC last season, at which point the teams were Mid-South Conference West Divison opponents. This season, BC has moved to the East division. CU earned a 49-0 win in 2012 in the Rams' next to last game of the year.
