GAFFNEY, S.C. – The Bluefield University men's golf team earned a fourth-place finish at the Pioneer Fall Invite, held October 13–14 at Cherokee National Golf Club.

The Rams posted team scores of 297 and 308 for a two-round total of 605 (+29).

Jacob Mitchell paced Bluefield with another strong performance, finishing tied for sixth in the field. Mitchell opened with a 1-under-par 71 in the first round and followed with a 78 to close at 5-over-par for the tournament.

Silas Miller and Eetu Kilpinen each tied for 13th overall, both finishing at 7-over-par with matching 151 totals. Miller recorded rounds of 76 and 75, while Kilpinen went 73 and 78. Brayden Surface rounded out the Rams' lineup, tying for 23rd after posting consecutive rounds of 77.

Spartanburg Methodist's Evan Cheek claimed individual medalist honors with back-to-back rounds of 70 for a 4-under-par total, while Spartanburg Methodist also captured the team title with a score of 578 (+2).

Bluefield will next compete at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Preview, October 26–28 at Barnsley Resort in Adairsville, Georgia.
