Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 BLUEFIELD - Softball dropped a pair of heart-breaking Appalachian Athletic Conference games to Point University, Saturday afternoon at Graham Rec Park.
GAME 1
In a pitcher's duel, Point scored a run in the sixth and another in the seventh to claim a 2-0 win. Cameron Pearson went the distance in the circle for the Rams and struck out fcour and did not allow a walk.
Laken Sparks had two of Bluefield's four hits.
GAME 2
Bluefield fell behind 4-0 and battled back before falling 4-2.
Gabrielle Melick and Meredith Throckmorton each had two hits for the Rams.
