WALESKA, Ga. – Bluefield University softball player Kenidy Harris has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday evening.

Harris turned in a strong week at the plate, batting .421 across six games with three extra-base hits and 11 RBI.

The Elizabethton, Tennessee native delivered multiple key performances throughout the week, including a 3-for-4 outing with two RBI in game two against Bluefield State. She followed with a 2-for-4 performance with a double and four RBI in game one against Carolina. Harris also played a pivotal role in a doubleheader at Spartanburg Methodist, going 3-for-7 with five RBI, including driving in all three of Bluefield's runs in game two.

The honor marks Harris' first AAC Player of the Week selection of her career.

Bluefield returns to action Tuesday when the Rams host Alice Lloyd in a doubleheader beginning at 2:00 p.m.
