Box Score BLUEFIELD – In their first outing since Dec. 11, women's basketball fell to Union College in Appalachian Athletic Conference play 66-59. BC mounted a furious comeback after trailing by more than 20 points in the second half, but came up short.

·         Union shot 54 percent from the field in the first half to take a 39-20 lead at the intermission. Bluefield shot only 22 percent from the field.
·         The Rams got to within 13 in the third quarter before Union pulled back ahead by 23.
·         BC cut lead to 13 midway through the fourth period on Cox's steal and layup.
·         Adrianne Goodlet free throw with 2:17 left made it a 10-point game.
·         Cox steal and bucket made it a five point game with 40 seconds remaining.
