Box Score MONTGOMERY, W.Va. - West Virginia University Tech pulled away in the second half for a 61-54 win, snapping Bluefield College's women's winning streak at four games, Monday evening at the Baisi Athletic Center on the Tech campus.
BC led early, holding a 15-11 advantage after one quarter and a 28-24 lead at halftime. The Golden Bears out-scored the Rams 21-13 in the third stanza and 16-13 in the final 10 minutes.
Danae Cox led the Rams with 14 points and seven rebounds. She was the lone Bluefield double figure scorer.

Adrianne Goodlet,
Courtney Kendrick and
Emily Hart each scored seven and each had six rebounds.
WVU Tech's Savannah Shamblin topped the Bears' scoring column with 14 points, followed by Cheyanna Lusk with 13, Alexandra Combs with 11 and Zjahne West with 10.
The Rams fell to 10-7 on the season and return to the court Wednesday night in an Appalachian Athletic Conference battle at Tennessee Wesleyan.
