MONTREAT, N.C. – Whitney Smith fired in 14 points and pulled down five rebounds and Shelby Key added 11 points to lead Bluefield College to a 74-45 win at Montreat, Wednesday night.

The win was the second straight for the Rams women who improved to 14-10 overall and 9-8 in conference games.

Deneysha Goods had nine points with five rebounds and Danae Cox led BC with seven rebounds.

Bluefield took the win shooting 38 percent from the floor. The BC defense held Montreat to 28 percent shooting in the contest.

Darah DeWalt was Montreat's leading scorer with 11 points. She also had seven rebounds.

The Rams entertain Union, Saturday afternoon at 2:00.
