Box Score BLUEFIELD - A late Bluefield rally in the fourth period broke a 55-all tie and lifted the Rams women's basketball team to a 67-59 win over the Bryan Lions, Saturday night in Appalachian Athletic Conference action at the Dome Gymnasium.
Bluefield led throughout the first half only to see Bryan take the lead in the third quarter thanks to some deadly three point shooting by the visiting Lions.
Tied at 55, Adrianne Goodlet drained a three to put the Rams back on top and baskets by Whitney Smith and Courtney Kendrick pushed the lead to 62-55 and the Rams held on for the victory.
Kendrick led Bluefield (6-5, 2-3 AAC) with 16 points and five rebounds. Goodlet added 14 points and Smith tallied 11.
Kaylee Smith led Bryan (2-6, 1-4 AAC) with 24.
Bluefield College is back in action Thursday night at Milligan.
