Box Score LAURINBURG, N.C. - Cordaris Towns and
Zeke Williams scored 19 points apiece to power the Bluefield College men's basketball team to a 76-47 Appalachian Athletic Conference victory over the St. Andrews University Knights, Wednesday night.
The win was Bluefield's second in a row and sets up a match with No. 6 Union, Saturday afternoon in Barbourville, Ky. Leading 32-27 at halftime, the Rams out-scored the Knights 44-20 in the final 20 minutes to seal the win.
In addition to leading the scoring column, Towns grabbed six rebounds and Williams pulled down four boards. Alanzo Howard contributed nine points with a team-high seven rebounds while
Tony Hood and
Stanthony Nelms had three assists each.
Jibri Banner and Kwasean McCaskell scored nine points each to lead SAU in scoring.
With the victory BC improved to 10-6 overall and 3-4 in AAC play.
