WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Bluefield University women's golf team captured the team title at the Wildcat Invitational, hosted by Johnson & Wales (Charlotte) March 9–10 at Maple Chase Golf & Country Club.

The Rams posted rounds of 403 and 349 for a two-day total of 752 to secure the team victory.

Savannah Riley led the charge for Bluefield, earning her second individual medalist honor of the season. After opening the tournament with a 97, Riley bounced back in round two with a stellar 70 (-2), the lowest round of the event. Her final round included five birdies, 10 pars, and just three bogeys as she surged to the top of the leaderboard.

Emma Vickers added a fifth-place finish with rounds of 98 and 86, while Stella Gunter followed closely behind in sixth place after rounds of 98 and 94. Tristen Gillenwater also finished inside the top 10, placing eighth with rounds of 110 and 99.

BU returns to action April 6–7 at the Milligan Spring Shootout, which will be held at Johnson City Country Club in Johnson City, Tennessee.
