GAFFNEY, S.C. – The Bluefield University women's golf team placed fifth at the Pioneer Fall Invite, held October 13–14 at Cherokee National Golf Club.
The Rams posted team rounds of 397 and 400 for a two-day total of 797 (+221).
Savannah Riley led Bluefield with another strong showing, finishing tied for seventh overall after rounds of 86 and 88 for a 174 (+30) total. Emma Vickers followed in 22nd place (194), while Stella Gunter placed 25th (198). Tristen Gillenwater rounded out the lineup with a 231 total.
Tennessee Wesleyan's Maisie Hassall claimed the individual title with rounds of 75 and 84, and the Bulldogs also took home the team championship at 700 (+124).
Bluefield returns to the course October 19–21 for the Appalachian Athletic Conference Preview at Governor's Towne Club in Ackworth,Ga.
