BLUEFIELD, Va. – The Bluefield University women's golf team had three individuals compete in the Fincastle Invitational, held Monday and Tuesday at Fincastle Golf Club.

Sophomore Savannah Riley was the top finisher for BU, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team after rebounding from a day-one 93 (+23) with an 81 (+11) in round two. Her second-day rally was enough to tie her for fifth on the individual leaderboard.

The Glade Spring, Va., native carded six pars on the front nine and sank a birdie putt on the par-5 11th to secure the honor.

Sophomore Stella Gunter also competed in the event, tying for 10th in the field. Gunter shot 39 (+4) on the front nine on day one to fuel an 89 in round one. Her two-day total was 189 (+49).

Sophomore Emma Vickers posted scores of 92 and 98 for a two-day total of 190 (+50) to finish 13th.

BU will travel to Prestonsburg, Ky., to compete in the UPike Fall Invitational on Sept. 29–30.
