Bluefield, VA.-The Bluefield University Rams faced a formidable challenge on January 25, 2025, at The Dome Gymnasium, ultimately falling to the Truett McConnell Bears 64-42 in their latest AAC basketball matc-hup. 

The Bears quickly gained momentum, establishing a 38-16 lead by halftime. While the Rams showed signs of resilience in the second half, the deficit proved too large to overcome.

Destiny Long led the Rams with a standout performance, recording 12 points, 6 rebounds, and an impressive 4 blocks. Lauren Bragg and Lina Pagan also made notable contributions, with Pagan tallying 10 assists to facilitate Bluefield's offense. 

 Despite the setback, the Rams remain determined to regroup and prepare for their upcoming match-up against Bryan College on January 29, 2025. With renewed focus and the ongoing development of their key players, the Rams are eager to bounce back and make strides in the conference standings.
