Bluefield, VA.- The Bluefield University Rams fought hard in an Appalachian Athletic Conference showdown, at The Dome Gymnasium, but ultimately fell to the Milligan Buffaloes 90-66. Despite the loss, the Rams showed resilience, staying competitive in the first half with a narrow 39-37 deficit before Milligan pulled away in the second half.

Donavon Martin delivered a standout performance for Bluefield, leading the team with 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals. His strong all-around play was complemented by Quantavis Mckinney, who also scored 14 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Elijah White added 12 points and 5 assists, showing great playmaking ability, while Lenair Young and J Washington-Thomas contributed 9 and 8 points, respectively.

Bluefield will look to bounce back on January 22, 2025, when they host Johnson University at The Dome Gymnasium.
