BLUEFIELD – Heading into Wednesday night's AAC women's basketball game at the Dome Gymnasium between Bluefield University and Columbia International University two things were certain: one, the Rams would win, and two, a losing skid would end. When the final horn sounded the BU Rams defeated the CIU Rams 67-60, ending a nine-game losing streak and extending CIU's losing streak to five games.
INSIDE THE GAME

• Bluefield led 13-10 at the end of the first quarter and 31-17 at the half.
• CIU stormed back in the third to pull to within four points.
• BU held off the surge to gain their third win of the season.

LEADERS

• Destiny Long recorded a double-double with 29 points and 13 rebounds. She added a pair of assists and a steal.
• Ahmiah Jordan finished with 11 points and six rebounds.
• Tamera Maple came off the bench to sink four threes and finished with 18 points.
• Kemiah Watkins led CIU with 22 points.
