BLUEFIELD - Bluefield University wrestling split a pair of Appalachian Athletic Conference matches, Friday, Jan. 11. The Rams fell to Montreat, then rebounded for a win against WVU Tech at the Herb Sims Center.
Kenaz Davis, making his college debut, won both of his matches, defeating Montreat's Montreat's Alexander Chester 14-4 in a major decision, and received a forfeit against WVU Tech. Stacey Wilson helped secure the win for the Rams against WVU Tech by picking up six team points. Wilson weighed in at 158 but secured the win at 165, as well as wrestling up another weight class at 174 against Montreat in an attempt to tally some bonus team points.
