BLUEFIELD - Bluefield University women golfers Tristen Gillenwater and Lexi Sandlin battled in the Fincastle Invitational, Sept. 18-19 on the Rams' home course.Gillenwater shot a two-day 205, and Sandlin a 237.
Bluefield State's Lorelei Oomens took top honors with a 159 and BSU's Mayte Ortiz was second with a 165.
The All-Tournament Team included Oomens and Ortiz from Bluefield State, Lindsey Hoile of Columbia, Chelsea Baker of Mars Hill, and Laycee Hoffman of Mars Hill.
In the team competition Mars Hill was victorious with a 690. Virginia Wesleyan was second and Bryan third.
