BLUEFIELD – Bluefield University women's volleyball won its third straight match, Saturday, defeating St. Andrews University 3-0 in Appalachian Athletic Conference at the Dome Gymnasium. The Rams powered to the win taking the sets 25-12, 25-12, 25-15.
INSIDE THE MATCH

• The Knights scored the set's first point only to see the Rams, on the serving of Nayerly Jimenez score six unanswered and build a lead that would only grow. BU took the opening set 25-12.
• In the second, again on the serving of Jimenez, the Rams opened a 5-0 lead and took another 25-12 win.
• St. Andrews drew first blood in the third set and led 3-0. Bluefield tied at five, took its first lead 6-5, and outscored SAU 19-10 to win the third set 25-15 and the match.

LEADERS

• Georgia Lewis collected 14 digs.
• Jimenez has 19 assists, five digs, and five service aces.
• Liangelys Santana finished with 15 kills and eight digs.

• The Rams improved to 10-5 in AAC play and 14-10 overall. Milligan visits the Dome Gymnasium on Tuesday. Match time is 6 pm.
