Bears nudge past Rams

BLUEFIELD – The University of Pikeville Bears claimed a hard-fought 1-0 win over the Bluefield University Rams in women's soccer, Saturday at the East River Soccer Complex.
The Bears scored the game's lone goal in the 40th minute. The Rams fought to the final whistle but came up short. BU's Madison Price had three saves in goal.
