Box Score LAURINBURG, N.C. – It was a record-setting day for the Bluefield University football team as the Rams defeated St. Andrews University 50-12 in Appalachian Athletic Conference play. With the win the Rams won a school-record seventh game in a season and improved to 7-3 overall and 3-1 in the AAC.
Joey Dales entered his name in the record books with a 52-yard field goal, and
Abdul Kaloko,
George Adjei, and Dales scored their first collegiate touchdowns.
INSIDE THE GAME
- Dales started the scoring with a 34-yard field goal.
- JaQuan Ebron and Nathan Herstich connected on a pair of TD passes, from 33 and nine yards out, and Dales booted two extra points to give BU a 17-0 first quarter lead.
- Kaloko got his first TD at BU on a five-yard run.
- In the final minute of the half the Rams picked up a safety and Dales booted the 52-yard field goal to give Bluefield a 29-6 halftime lead.
- The Rams scored three second-half touchdowns to round out the scoring. Cadence Lampp ran for a score, while Dales and Adjei caught TD passes from Mason Adams.
LEADERS
- Ebron had five catches for 111 yards and two touchdowns.
- Herstich completed 11-of-31 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns.
- Adams completed 2-of-3 passes for two touchdowns.
- Dales caught a TD pass, was 2-for-2 on field goals with a school record 52-yarder, 6-for-6 on extra points, and averaged 47.4 yards punting.
- Kaloko rushed for 84 yards and a score.
- Sam Kirtley had 14 tackles and a fumble recovery.

- The Rams wrap up the regular season next Saturday night, Nov. 12 against Kentucky Christian University. It will be Senior Night at Mitchell Stadium.
