Milligan surges late to defeat Bluefield

BLUEFIELD – The Milligan University Buffaloes pulled away in the fourth quarter to defeat the Bluefield University Rams 89-77 in Appalachian Athletic Conference women's basketball action Tuesday evening at the Dome Gymnasium.

  • Milligan led the entire game and was up 49-34 at halftime.
  • The Rams closed to within three at 75-72 late in the fourth quarter.
