Bulldogs put the bite on Rams

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. – Bluefield University men's basketball took to the road for the first time in the 2021-22 season and dropped an AAC contest 80-62 to the Union College Bulldogs.
The Rams and Dogs played a close first half with the Bulldogs holding a slim 38-34 halftime lead. The first nine minutes of the second half were tight and with just over 11 minutes to play the game was knotted at 50. Union went on a 30-12 run to close the game and take the victory.
Jermiah Jenkins led the Rams with 21 points and Volante Carroll had a team high eight rebounds along with 12 points. Trent Dunn also tallied 12 points for the Rams, now 1-1 overall and in conference play.
Union's Markelle Turner led all scorers with 24 points and Andre Silva had 10 points.
