COLUMBIA, S.C. - Softball won its third straight game, taking an AAC doubleheader from Allen University 16-1 and 8-0, Sunday afternoon.
In the opening game
Macy Martin paced the Rams going 3-for-4 at the plate with four RBIs and Megan Groce knocked in three runs.
Madison Koonce threw a four-hitter in the circle and struck out five Allen batters.
In game two
Taylor Nunn tossed a three hitter and struck out three Allen hitters.
Lexi Harmon was 3-for-4 with two runs batted in.
The win concluded the Rams' two-day South Carolina road trip. On Saturday BC dropped its first game at Columbia College 1-0 before bouncing back to take game two 10-6 in 12 innings.
The Rams now stand at 5-5 overall and 3-1 in conference play.
