BLUEFIELD – Friday night wrestling at the Dome Gymnasium saw the Rams fall victim to the 23^rd ranked NCAA Division III Averett University Cougars 42-4.
The Cougars took the first nine matches of the evening before BC's Creed Lumpp, returning to action after missing BC's last match with an injury defeated his opponent 10-0 to give Bluefield a win on the mats.
The Rams are back in action Sunday afternoon hosting St. Andrews and Southwest Virginia Community College in a tri-match. It will be Senior Day for BC, with festivities beginning at 12:45.
