KINGSPORT, Tenn. - West Virginia University Tech slipped past men's basketball 71-69 in the NAIA Division II Showcase "The Show," Saturday afternoon at the Meadowview Conference Center and Resort.
The Golden Bears led the Rams 31-24 at the break, but Bluefield stormed back in the second half and the Rams out-scored WVUT in the second half but came up a pair of points short when the final buzzer sounded.
D'Monte Evans led BC with 25 points and Damauri Sexton had a team-high 10 rebounds. Parrish Stevons added 10 points for the Rams.
