MONTREAT, N.C. - In a battle of No. 5 vs. No. 6 in AAC men's basketball, the No. 6 Montreat Cavaliers defeated the No. 5 Bluefield College Rams 94-68 Wednesday night.
Montreat opened a double-digit lead in the first half and led 46-30 at halftime. The Cavaliers' lead grew as high as 30 points in the second half.
Brandon Shields led BC in scoring with 18 points. Jermiah Jenkins had 13 points with five assists and three steals. Niquan Cousins had nine points and nine rebounds.
