BLUEFIELD - Women's basketball was back in the Dome Saturday against Point University and came out with a solid AAC win, 54-44.
The first quarter went by quickly and the Rams trailed the Skyhawks 12-7.
BC tied the score at at 12within the first two minutes of the second quarter. BC kept battling Point, but came led 28-22 at halftime.
The Rams turned things around in the third quarter and took the lead, and after three periods led 45-38.
BC kept the momentum going in the fourth quarter to claim the win.
Danae Cox was the leading scorer with 14 points,
Tianna Crockett had 11, and
Cierra Cook finished with eight. Kiera Bell-Linnear had 12 rebounds.
