BLUEFIELD - The start of Saturday night's game at Mitchell Stadium was delayed two hours as a result of lighting in the area, and once play started the early electricity belonged to the Rams who took an early 7-0 lead over Keiser on a fumble recovery in the endzone. However, the visiting Seahawks scored 28 second quarter points and claimed a 45-17 win over the Bluefield on a foggy night at the old stadium on the hillside.
Bluefield failed to get in a rhythm offensively all night as the Rams used three quarterbacks and committed seven turnovers in the game, four interceptions and three fumbles.
Defensively for BC
DaMarcus Wimbush and
Tyrice Henry each had seven tackles and
Logan Hinnant finished with six.
The Rams take to the road for the first time in 2018 next week as they visit Cincinnati Christian.
