Box Score EASLEY, S.C. – Baseball dropped its first game at the NCCAA World Series, Wednesday, May 23, falling 6-4 to Southwestern Christian University of Oklahoma.

Jose Perez. Bluefield took the lead in the bottom of the fifth when
Baley Castro singled home
Jordan Ackerman, who had reached on a single.
The game remained tied until the top of the eighth when Southwestern scored four times to take the lead. The Rams rallied for a run in the bottom of the eighth, but could not push any more across the plate.
Caleb Newman started on the mound for BC and pitched into the eighth inning. He struck out five and allowed three earned runs. Castro was 3-for-4 at the plate and Perez had a pair of hits.
The Rams take on top-seeded Biola University of California, Thursday, May 24 at noon.
