Box Score 2 BLUEFIELD - Softball took down the top team in the Appalachian Athletic Conference, Friday afternoon at Graham Rec Park and gained a doubleheader split with the Union Bulldogs.
GAME 1
Cameron Pearson tossed a four-hitter, allowed one run and struck out seven to get the win in the circle as the Rams claimed a 3-1 win in the opening game.Â
The Rams scored all their runs in the fourth inning on RBI singles by
Carlee King and
Laken Sparks, and a run-scoring double by
Riley O'Neal.
In the field the Rams played errorless ball.
GAME 2
Union scored three times in the first and second innings and took a 10-2, five inning win. The Rams committed six errors in the contest and seven of the Bulldogs' 10 runs were unearned,
