Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 GAINESVILLE, Ga. - Softball shocked the nation and the AAC by knocking off the No. 13 NAIA Brenau Tigers in the opening game of the teams' doubleheader, Friday afternoon. Brenau took the second game for a split.
GAME 1
The Rams downed the No. 13 Tigers in a run-rule shortened game 11-3, thanks to home runs by Cameron Pearson, Meredith Throckmorton and Riley O'Neal. Pearson was 3-for-4 at the plate and was the winning pitcher for the Rams. Mary Blake Avery also had a pair of hits for the Rams.

Brenau won game two 7-1
