BLUEFIELD - Men's soccer played to a 1-1 draw with Milligan in AAC soccer action, Wednesday night at the East River Soccer Complex.
The Rams took the lead in the 14th minute on a penalty kick goal by Duarte Ferreira. Milligan knotted the match seven minutes later on a header by Roberto Fernande Garrido. The teams then battled the rest of the night with neither finding the back of the net.
Rams goalkeeper Sven Kleinhans had 10 saves on the night including a spectacular one in the first overtime period that kept the game knotted.
Bluefield is now 2-6-1 overall and 1-4-1 in league play.
