BLUEFIELD – The Coker College Cobras invaded the Dome Gymnasium, Friday night and bit the Bluefield College Rams, taking a three set win, 25-14, 25-10, 25-8.

Bluefield took the lead in the first set, scoring the initial three points, but Coker stormed back to go ahead 17-8 at which point Bluefield called time. The Cobras finished the match on an 8-6 run to take the opening game 25-14.

In the second game, the Rams led with Coker tying on each of the first five points before the Cobras took their first lead 6-5. Coker increased its lead to 11-5 before BC scored two straight to make it 11-7. Three straight points by Coker made it 14-7 and Bluefield called time. The Cobras won game two 25-10.

The visitors claimed a 25-8 win in the third set to take the match.

The Rams, 0-6, host Milligan, Monday night at 6:30. Coker moved to 6-2 with the win.
