Courtney Kendrick scored 13 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead the Bluefield College Rams past the Union College Bulldogs, Saturday afternoon at the Dome Gymnasium.
Kendrick was one of three Rams who scored in double digits in the contest.
Whitney Smith and
Autumn Hash each tallied 12 points as Bluefield improved to 10-6 overall and 6-4 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference.
Adrianne Goodlet also had eight rebounds while Hash cleared the boards five timees.
Union held the early lead before Bluefield erased a one-point deficit after one quarter and led 34-30 at halftime. Union fought back and took the lead in the third, but Bluefield held a 47-46 lead headed into the final eight minutes.
The Rams return to the court Monday night in a non-conference game at West Virginia University Tech in Montgomery, W.Va.
