Box Score BLUEFIELD - Bluefield College's women's soccer team was knocked from the ranks of the unbeaten Wednesday evening, as the West Virginia University Tech Golden Bears blanked the Rams 3-0 at the East River Soccer Complex.
Tech scored the match's first goal in the 22nd minute before adding scores in the 76th and 89th minute. The Bears were the aggressor, out-shooting the Rams 17-6 in the contest. BC's Amanda Brown had seven goals.
Bluefield returns to the pitch Saturday evening in its first Appalachian Athletic Conference match of the season at Union. Game time with the Bulldogs is 5 p.m. in Barbourville, Ky.
