ATHENS, Tenn. – The Bluefield University women's soccer team concluded its 2025 season Saturday afternoon, falling 8-0 to Tennessee Wesleyan in Appalachian Athletic Conference play.
The Bulldogs, receiving votes in the latest national rankings, scored three times in the first half and added five more after the break. Bluefield goalkeeper Autumn Matthews recorded a career-high 21 saves while facing 47 total shots. Defenders Taylor Inocelda-Bihag, Analee Woodson, and Moriah Mingo worked tirelessly in the back line against a relentless Tennessee Wesleyan attack.
With the result, Bluefield finishes the 2025 campaign with a record of 1-14 overall and 0-13 in AAC play.
