The Rams drop both games against St. Andrews University on Wednesday. The Knights won 5-0 and then 6-2.
The Knights scored five runs over a span of four innings. The Rams' bats struggled as only four hits were earned for the team as a whole.
Kristen Murphy,
Eryn Haley,
Michaela Carter and
Kaitlyn Pennington each had a single for BC.
Game two saw the Knights score in five of the seven innings, putting up six runs. The Rams had six hits in the game, three of which came in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Alexandra Bartley doubled to leadoff the inning, followed by a single from
Baily Garin. Both Bartley and Garin scored on a triple down the right field line from the bat of
Kena Denton but those would be the only runs BC produced.
The two losses put the Rams at 11-21 on the year and 1-13 in the AAC. BC will return to action Saturday, April 2, as they host Tennessee Wesleyan. Game times are set for 1:00 and 3:00 at Graham Recreation Park. The Rams will also play at home on Sunday, April 3, which will be Senior Day for the team's two seniors.
