DAYTON, Tenn. - The No. 23 Bryan Lions extended their claws over the weekend and took a three-game series from the Bluefield College baseball team.
Friday night Bryan defeated BC 12-2. In doubleheader action Saturday afternoon the homestanding Lions claimed a 15-5 win in game one and a 3-0 victory in game two.
Bluefield dropped to 8-13 overall and 2-4 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference while Bryan improved to 17-7 in all games and 4-2 in conference play.
The Rams return to the diamond Monday as they welcome Ohio State Lima to Bowen Field. It is the home opener and the two teams are scheduled to play doubleheaders on both Monday and Tuesday. First pitch both days is scheduled for 1 p.m.
