Box Score MONTGOMERY, W.Va. – Bluefield College's women's volleyball opened the 2015 season with a resounding 3-0 win over the WVU Tech Golden Bears, Tuesday evening.  The Rams victories were 25-16, 25-18, 25-16.
Jasmine Morrow helped lead the Rams to victory as she had 14 kills, six digs and an ace. Camry McCroskey provided 18 assists and Channell Flores had 15. Ellen Johnson led the way with six digs and Ashlyn VanDyke had eight. Both Mikaela Hurst and Rachel Alley had six kills in the victory and Hannah Winter served four aces. In the blocks category Lexie Austin picked up three, Hurst two and Johnson one.
Bluefield returns to the court Tuesday, Sept. 8 in an Appalachian Athletic Conference match at Montreat. The home opener is set for Friday, Sept. 11 when Columbia visits Dome Gymnasium.
