BECKLEY, W.Va. – Bluefield College's women's soccer squad gave a valiant effort but fell 5-1 to the USCAA's No. 7 team, West Virginia University Tech 5-1 at the Paul Cline Soccer Complex. The Rams' only goal came from Victoria Doyle in the 74^th minute.

Bluefield returns to the pitch Wednesday when they travel to Williamsburg, Ky., to take on the University of the Cumberlands. The Rams' record now stands at 1-2.
