Teqa McNeal and
Janee Simmons.

Despite the defeat, Simmons still had a memorable day, as the forward tallied 15 points on the day and surpassed the 1,000 career points mark in the first half. She also ripped down a game-high 14 rebounds for her 10
th double-double of the season.

Bluefield concludes its regular season with a 14-14 mark overall and a 7-11 record in Mid-South Conference play. Meanwhile, Campbellsville, who had already locked up the No. 1 seed in the MSC tournament next week, is now 27-3 overall and 16-2 in MSC action.

Asia Wheeler was the only other BC player in double figures Saturday, chipping in 10 points.

The Lady Tigers were led by Mary Jehlik's 12 points, while Ellen Sholtes and Caroline Owen added 11 and 10, respectively.

Despite
Maryah Mazyck tallying the game's first bucket, the Lady Tigers opened up a 10-point advantage, 15-5, through 6-1/2 minutes of play. The Lady Tigers' offense only picked up from there, as they gathered a 31-9 advantage with 6:36 remaining in the opening half.

Campbellsville posted a 14-0 run in the stretch and hit 12 of its first 22 field goal attempts to take the commanding lead.

On the other hand, Bluefield was just 4-for-14 during the same time span and committed 13 turnovers—they would finish the night with a season-high 33 turnovers, translating into 30 points for the visitors.

Bluefield played with the Lady Tigers in the second half, but the 40-17 deficit at the break would be too big of a hill to climb against the No. 4 team in the country.

While the team's shot nearly identical percentages, Bluefield (19-for-47) was had nearly 20 attempts less than Campbellsville (26-for-65).

The Lady Tigers also made use of the long ball, hitting 7-of-19 (36.8%) attempts. BC hit just one from outside in eight tries.

Bluefield, normally a 71.5% team at the free throw line, was just 3-for-15 (20%) on the evening. Campbellsville was 10-for-12 (83.3%) at the charity stripe.
Bluefield's 7-11 conference record created a three-way tie for sixth place in the conference standings along with University of Rio Grande and University of Pikeville. With the teams all splitting the season series with one another, the tiebreaker goes to the team's records against Mid-South Conference opponents beginning with the No. 1 seed.

A win over Georgetown earns UPike the No. 6 seed, while a season split with Lindsey Wilson College gives Rio Grande the No. 7 seed. Bluefield was 0-2 against the Blue Raiders and takes the No. 8 seed.Â
