WILLIAMSBURG, Ky.; LEBANON, Tenn. – The Bluefield College volleyball team dropped a pair of Mid-South Conference contests this weekend to University of the Cumberlands (12-25, 16-25, 11-25) and Cumberland University (11-25, 15-25, 23-25).

The Lady Rams' attack struggled Friday against the Patriots, as Jasmine Morrow was held to a single-digit kills total for just the sixth time on the season. Morrow tallied seven kills, while Amber Taylor-Inge had the next highest total with four.

Sydney Spencer recorded 16 assists and Morrow also led the team with 11 digs and had a pair of blocks.

Against Cumberland on Saturday, BC started slowly but challenged the Bulldogs in the final set.

BC held several slim leads in the third, but once Cumberland took a 20-19 lead, they held the lead the rest of the way for the 25-23 win to seal the sweep.

Morrow tallied 10 kills and added 11 digs once again for BC. Ashlyn Van Dyke led the squad with 12 digs and Marissa Grice provided 16 assists.
