Destiny Tolliver started her senior campaign strong, opening the season with four-straight double-doubles, averaging 14.2 points and 13.5 rebounds per outing to lead Bluefield to a 3-1 mark.
For the month, Tolliver has averaged 11.6 points per game to go with 12.6 rebounds. She connected on 50 of her 109 attempts from the floor, a field goal percentage of 45.9%.
She also averaged three blocks per game, including six in BC's win over Washington Adventist.
The Durham, N.C., native's performances against West Virginia Tech and Washington Adventist earned her NCCAA Women's Basketball Division I Student-Athlete of the Week honors--her first-ever weekly accolade.
Tolliver currently (Dec. 5) ranks first in the NAIA Division II with 157 total rebounds and fourth in the nation in rebounds per game (12.0). Her 39 blocks rank her second in the country.
The BC women are 5-7 as of Dec. 5, after getting an upset win over No. 15 and previously undefeated Tennessee Wesleyan College on Dec. 3.
