Nick Cooper

Nick Cooper begins his first year as the Director of Athletic Communications at Bluefield University in 2025.

A graduate of nearby Concord University, Cooper earned his bachelor’s degree in business management in 2023 and completed his MBA in 2025. During his time at Concord, he served two years as a Sports Information Graduate Assistant, assisting with coverage of volleyball, men’s and women’s golf, women’s basketball, baseball, and softball.

In addition to game coverage, Cooper managed the CU Mountain Lions’ Twitter and Instagram pages as a graphic designer and helped create the inaugural 2024 Concord University Champions Gala, the department’s end-of-year awards show.

A 2019 graduate of Shady Spring High School, Cooper created and managed the Shady Baseball Twitter page from 2017–21, while assisting with gameday operations and serving as a public address announcer for the school’s baseball program following graduation. From 2019–24, he also worked at The Resort at Glade Springs in various roles including Outside Golf Staff, Inside Golf Staff, and Golf Supervisor.

Originally from Whitesville, West Virginia, Cooper now resides in Beaver, West Virginia.
