Makenna, who is majoring in Exercise and Sports Science, has an impressive list of high school and club accolades. She was featured on the KVCA 2022 Watchlist and the Prep Dig 2022 Watchlist, ranking #27 overall and #7 for her position (setter) in Kentucky. Makenna also earned spots on the NCSAA Super-Regional Team and the All "A" All-Tournament Team. She was named KHSAA 2021 and 2022 Academic All State First Team, and she holds all-time career milestones for aces (3rd), assists (2nd), and digs (7th). In 2023, she was recognized as a Student Athlete Scholars Community Champion and the 2024 Graduate Scholar of the Year runner-up. Her club achievements include being named to the Alpha Performance 2023 AVCA Best & Brightest First-Team, the 2023 AVCA All-American Watch List, and earning spots on the AAU 2022 and 2021 Academic All-American teams. Outside of her academic and athletic pursuits, Makenna enjoys shopping, fishing, and working out.
