Bluefield Baseball making 7th NCCAA World Series appearance in 10 years

The Bluefield College baseball team will make its seventh NCCAA World Series appearance in 10 years, as the Rams have accepted an at-large bid after finishing as the Mideast Region runners-up. Led by 10th year head coach Mike White, Bluefield is making its second-straight trip to the event. The Rams advanced to the World Series four-straight years from 2007 to 2010, in which Bluefield claimed a World Series title in 2009 and were runners-up in 2010.

This year, Bluefield enters the World Series as the No. 9 seed and is in Pool A along with #1 Fresno Pacific, #4 Palm Beach Atlantic, #5 Central Baptist, and #8 Toccoa Falls.
